Cadbury Picnic
Deja-vu
Don't worry I'm not having memory lapses, I remember already reviewing Cadbury's Picnic. There are a few differences between the earlier, and this one now. Apart from the apparent different wrappers, the earlier is made by Cadbury UK and this by Cadbury Australia. The UK version contains rice crisps, peanuts, caramel, and raisins. This Aussi one has wafers, peanuts, and caramel. This Picnic is alot like Nestle's Lion (and you thought I would say alot like the other Picnic
) There's a similar wafer center surrounded by a layer of caramel. Unlike some other bars, the peanuts in the Picnic surrounds the whole bar, not just on the top.
The wafer is light and doesn't have much taste, while the caramel is chewy-hard. My favorite part of the bar is the peanuts & milk chocolate - tastes alot like chocolate covered peanuts if you eat those apart
The bland wafers make this bar not very sweet, though the peanuts make this 50g bar filling.
And my preference between this or the UK version? Mmm I would give it to this one. Sorry Cadbury UK, I don't have a taste for raisins.

Wish I would have seen this before candy shopping this weekend. Maybe they have it at the Irish store. The raisins with that combo don't sound very good.
