Welcome to Mar's Bars!

Mar's Bars is a blog dedicated to rants and raves on chocolate bars, started in May of 2007. I'm Mary, a 22 year old student from Saskatchewan Canada. The blog title comes from a nickname my sister gave me, Mar. Unfortunately there's a saturation on the "blogspot.com" domain, so some improvision lead to http://supermarsbars.blogspot.com

Lack of a writing background is my excuse for some uncreative descriptions in posts. In other words, you may catch me using "tastey" and "delicious" alot of times, occasionally throwing in madeup terms such as "chocolate-ness". Hey as long as it gets the message across

This blog will stick to chocolates, as I have a chocolate-tooth more than a sweet-tooth. In fact I hardly like candy at all! I crave novelty, so will try all chocolate bars at least once (if it's really good maybe twice and even thrice). And I'm especially drawn to "Limited Edition" chocolate bars, the gimmicks do work!
